Our Community Bank

Bendigo Community Bank in Bexley has been operating in Bexley Town Centre since 2004, established through the tireless efforts of the Bexley Chamber of Commerce.

By the turn of the 2000s, major banks had left Bexley. In response, our community raised $650,000 to establish a Bendigo Bank Community Bank Branch, bringing essential financial services back to our town.

Community banking is based on a ‘profit with purpose’ model, which means a portion of the Bank’s profits can be returned directly to the community.

Bendigo Bank provides our community members access to banking products and financial services. They also actively support our local community by way of grants, sponsorships, and community partnerships. The Community Bank takes pride in their customer service, product offering, engagement with the local community, and knowing customers by name!
