Our Bexley locals June Trivia Night was another great success, with 45 players and 5 observers. Thank you to Forest Inn Hotel Bexley , Gilchrist's Pharmacy, Sweet Beirut and Community Bank Bexley for donating raffle prizes. Your generous support really lifted the night.

Our next event is just over three weeks away on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, and we'd love to see another strong turnout.

Doors open at our venue, the Forest Inn Hotel Bexley function centre, at 6pm with trivia commencing promptly at 7pm.

As always, we welcome contributions to the raffle prize pool, which will be acknowledged on the night along with your business.
To help us cater (and to make sure your team gets the good seats), please book your places by phoning 1300 BEXLEY (1300 239 539) or emailing info@bexleychamber.

In March 1999, a commitment was made to provide $1 million for the beautification of Bexley Town Centre, contingent on the outcome of the 1999 State election. At that time, The Leader published an article outlining an ambitious—though perhaps impractical—vision for Bexley.

Following the election, the new Member for Kogarah, Cherie Burton, honoured the commitment. After consultation, the funding was allocated to several improvements delivered by the RTA, including: lighting in carparks and the main street, a pedestrian crossing on Forest Road at Oriental Street, pavement improvements to Forest Road. All work was completed in mid 2003.

Clipping supplied by Fred Scott, Secretary of the Bexley Chamber of Commerce at that time.

Business Success Stories

In this section, we will regularly feature businesses that stand out as leaders in their field — those delivering exceptional service to our community

Spotlight: Bexley Podiatry

Bexley Podiatry Foot and Ankle Clinic has grown alongside its community. What began as a small local podiatry practice has steadily developed into a trusted foot and ankle clinic serving families across Bexley and the wider Bayside region.

“As Bexley continues to grow, the clinic remains focused on strengthening local connections and progressively building a leading foot and ankle centre for the community it proudly serves.”

Spotlight: Bexley Physiotherapy

In 2013, Bexley Physiotherapy began not as a large clinic with a team and systems, but as a simple vision — to create a place where patients felt genuinely cared for, listened to, and guided with integrity.

“What sustained the clinic during those formative years was not marketing budgets or rapid expansion, but relationships.”
