Bexley Podiatry Foot and Ankle Clinic has grown alongside its community. What began as a small local podiatry practice has steadily developed into a trusted foot and ankle clinic serving families across Bexley and the wider Bayside region.
From the beginning, the focus has been simple. Provide high quality foot and ankle care in a setting where patients feel heard, respected and genuinely supported. Much of the clinic’s growth has come through word of mouth and long standing relationships within the local community.
As demand for more comprehensive foot and ankle services increased, the clinic expanded and relocated to a modern clinical space that reflects its continued investment in Bexley. Today, Bexley Podiatry Foot and Ankle Clinic supports patients across the full spectrum of care, from routine and preventative podiatry through to the management of complex foot and ankle conditions. Advanced treatment planning and surgical consultation are available where appropriate, allowing patients to access a broad scope of care close to home.
Ongoing education and professional development remain central to the clinic’s philosophy. The team continues to invest in training and emerging technologies to ensure patients receive evidence based care aligned with current best practice.

In 2013, Bexley Physiotherapy began not as a large clinic with a team and systems, but as a simple vision — to create a place where patients felt genuinely cared for, listened to, and guided with integrity.
In those early days, I wore every hat imaginable. I was the physiotherapist treating patients from morning to evening, the cleaner preparing the rooms before the first appointment and after the last, the receptionist answering calls between sessions, and the accountant balancing the books late at night. There were no departments, no layers of management — just commitment, long hours, and an unwavering belief that the community deserved exceptional care.
What sustained the clinic during those formative years was not marketing budgets or rapid expansion, but relationships. Each patient entrusted us with their recovery, and in return we offered diligence, honesty, and a standard of care we would expect for our own families. Word began to spread. One patient became two. Two became ten. Slowly, steadily, the foundations strengthened.
Growth was never about becoming bigger for its own sake. It was about meeting need. As demand increased, so too did the opportunity to bring on like-minded clinicians — professionals who shared the same philosophy of evidence-based treatment, compassion, and accountability. With each addition to the team, the vision expanded while the core values remained unchanged.
Over time, we also recognised a growing need within our community for specialised women’s health services delivered with understanding, discretion, and expertise. What began as general physiotherapy care evolved into a dedicated focus on women’s health and clinical Pilates — programs designed and delivered by women who understand women. From pregnancy and postnatal recovery to pelvic health and strength restoration, this expansion has allowed us to support women through every stage of life with care that is both clinically sound and deeply empathetic.
Today, Bexley Physiotherapy has grown into a thriving clinic with five dedicated physiotherapists and a capable administrative team supporting the day-to-day operations. What was once a one-person operation has evolved into a collaborative environment where knowledge is shared, patients benefit from diverse expertise, and care is delivered with consistency and professionalism.
Yet despite the growth, the essence of 2013 remains. The early mornings, the attention to detail, the personal investment in every patient outcome — these continue to define who we are. The scale has changed, but the standard has not.
Building Bexley Physiotherapy has been both a professional journey and a deeply personal one. From cleaning floors after closing time to mentoring a team of clinicians, every stage has reinforced a simple truth: meaningful growth is built on service, perseverance, and community trust.
